I've been photographing for over 10 years. And over that time I've realized that what I love most about photography is people and beautiful places.

I look for authenticity.
It doesn't matter whether I'm standing in front of a businesswoman who needs new photos for her brand, in front of a beautiful interior, at a corporate event, at a wedding, or somewhere outdoors with a family.
I'm always looking for the same thing.
Good light. Atmosphere. Detail. Emotion. And above all, something real.
I don't shoot on command.
And honestly, I don't want to.
I don't like photos where you can tell at first glance that someone said "everyone smile now", although of course it's sometimes nice to have those too (for grandmas and such).
But I much prefer moments that happen almost by accident. A look nobody ordered. A laugh that came on its own. A person at work. Kids who forget someone is photographing them.
Of course I'll guide you when needed. But I don't want to turn you into models.
I want the photos to be truly you. Not some pose.
What matters to me during a shoot?
That you feel good
You don't need to be used to standing in front of a camera. Most people aren't. That's why I'll guide you through the shoot and tell you what I need. You don't need to arrive knowing exactly what you'll do.
That the photos make sense
For brand shoots, I think about where you'll use them. For interiors, I look for what makes your space interesting. For events, I care about the atmosphere and the people. For weddings, I want to capture your whole day, not just a few staged hours. And for family shoots, above all, you exactly as you are.
That you're left with something you'll truly love
I don't want the photos to end up somewhere on a computer, never looked at again. I want you to use them, share them, print them, or one day look through them and say: "Yeah. That's exactly us."
And who am I when I'm not shooting?
I'm Martina. I live in Vysočina and I love mountains, traveling, nature, good food, and moments when I don't have to rush anywhere.
I spent five years living in Wales, so shooting in English is no problem at all, I'm very happy to photograph English-speaking clients too.
I like things that aren't perfect but have character. That's probably why I also love photos that aren't completely polished and predictable.
And when I'm not shooting, I'm probably somewhere dreaming up another project, creating at my computer, planning a family trip, working out, reading a good story, playing guitar, or hiking in the mountains.
Why Light & Loft?
Light & Loft was born from my love of light and space.
Light, because without good light, photography just doesn't interest me.
Loft, because I love space, architecture, interiors, and places with their own character.
But over time I realized it's not just about the space. It's mainly about what happens inside it.
A person. A family. Work. A celebration. Relationships. Life. And that's exactly what I want to photograph.
